About this fundraiser

Help us make a dream come true! We're reaching out for support to make it possible for my sister, a remarkable soon to be 8th grader, to join her peers on a transformative journey to Washington DC.

Living with me for the past three years, my sister has shown incredible resilience and determination. Despite facing challenges, she remains focused on her education and future. This trip is more than just a school excursion; it's an opportunity for her to explore, learn, and grow in ways that will shape her future.

The total cost of the trip is a little over $4000, and while we're doing everything we can to cover the expenses, we need some assistance to make it happen. My sister is a bright and motivated student who deserves the chance to experience the same opportunities as her peers.

During her time in Washington DC, she'll have the chance to visit iconic landmarks such as the Holocaust Museum, Washington Monument, Smithsonian Museums, Capitol Hill, White House Visitor Center, Ford's Theatre, Peterson House, National Cathedral, National Zoo, Korean War Memorial, FDR Memorial, MLK Memorial, and Mount Vernon.

Beyond the excitement of sightseeing, this trip offers educational opportunities that extend far beyond the classroom. By immersing herself in American history and culture, my sister will gain valuable insights and perspectives that will stay with her for a lifetime. Additionally, she'll have the chance to earn college credits, giving her a head start on her academic journey.

Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to making this experience a reality for my sister. Your support will not only help her explore the world but also empower her to reach her full potential.

We are deeply grateful for any assistance you can provide in sending this exceptional young lady to Washington DC. Together, we can help her create memories and opportunities that will last a lifetime. Thank you for your generosity and kindness.
