Our beloved uncle and brother, Delmar Cornell Maxwell, was a gentle, humble man who spent his life quietly serving others. Born on November 26, 1946, Delmar peacefully passed away on December 3, 2024.

Delmar was a deeply private person who mostly kept to himself, but his steady presence left a lasting mark on his community. For decades, he served as a dedicated elementary school employee within the North Carolina school system. He was the unsung hero working behind the scenes. His immense value was never measured in loud words, but rather in his dependable, honest labor and his humble heart.

We are raising funds to purchase and install a beautiful, permanent headstone for Delmar.
