Henri J Delger, loving father and active member of his community, passed away on July 16, 2023 of natural causes. He is predeceased by his wife Anne T. Delger (née Polaski) and leaves behind his daughter Kathryn Caruso, her husband Paul Caruso, and his grandson Lucas. 

Henri oversaw the Stoneham Post Office and went on to work for Harvard University in the management of their facilities and maintenance department for years. He was an avid numismatist with specialized knowledge of ancient Greek and Roman coins. A lover of animals, Henri cared deeply for his dogs and cats. In his later years, he sponsored a domesticated animal sanctuary that took in and cared for ailing/disabled pets when their owners could no longer meet their needs.

Henri’s daughter Kathryn and her small family comprise Henri’s only living relatives. They are working toward fulfilling his final wishes and hope to hold a Celebration of Life in his memory.

Kathryn and Paul both work in mental healthcare facilities and provide for their son, Henri’s grandson, Lucas (age 4). Funerary expenses are considerable. The generosity of friends, family and  anyone inclined to contribute would assist the family in their time of need and help to provide a modest but dignified memorial service for Henri.
