Our 12 yo daughter Diora, was diagnosed with Mitochondrial LHON, a genetic disease that has robbed her of almost all of her eyesight.  She is now legally blind, with the chance of becoming totally blind.  There is no cure; however, there is a treatment that can stop the progression of her sight loss and help her gain some of her sight back.
