  • Post-Stroke Neurology Appointment

    At the beginning of this month I had a very, very small stroke.. The ER cleared me to go home and referred me to Neurologist for follow-up tests. I may need physical therapy as well as my ongoing acupuncture for SJS/Chonic Pain.

    I need to raise $220 today for medical transportation and supplies. My appointment is covered by insurance.

A message from Walasia:

Due to my illness (SJS, a hereditary and terminal disease) I suffer from chronic pain, inflammation, skin disorders, and other ailments. 

Acupuncture, cupping and other holistic treatments are some of the only things that help. Doctors and hospitals are always willing to offer narcotic painkillers but never any holistic or natural *treatments* for my symptoms. 

Acupuncture is not covered by insurance. I have found a new provider and need to raise fund for the intake fee (one-time assessment/visit) and ongoing appointments at least 2x montly at $160 each. They are not able to take medical insurance (which I do have).
