Hi everyone,

I never imagined I’d be writing something like this but I’m asking for help for my little guy Sage who recently had to undergo emergency surgery due to a life threatening urinary blockage.

Out of nowhere he became unable to urinate/eat/drink because his urethra was completely blocked. This is a medical emergency in cats and without immediate treatment it can quickly become fatal. I rushed him to the vet, where they confirmed the blockage and told us surgery or euthanasia were the only options. He has helped me through so much and I couldn’t even think about giving up on him. 

The procedure and hospitalization were necessary, but the costs added up very quickly. Between emergency care, surgery, medications, blood testing, monitoring, and follow-up treatment, the vet bills have become overwhelming. I would do absolutely anything for him as he’s family but I’m struggling to cover these unexpected expenses on my own.

My cat has been incredibly strong through all of this, and he’s now on the road to recovery. He still needs ongoing care, medication, and monitoring to make sure this doesn’t happen again. Any contribution no matter how small, would go directly toward his medical bills and recovery.
