Dear friends, colleagues, and loved ones,

It is with profound sorrow and a heavy heart that I share the sad news of the passing of my beloved father, Eric John Davis, on September 11th of this year at his home on Paradise Street. The void he has left in our lives is immense, and as we grapple to find solace in this moment of grief, we are also faced with the overwhelming reality of funeral expenses.

A Navy veteran, Eric dedicated his life to serving his country and protecting his loved ones. Hoping to receive assistance in covering the costs of his cremation, paperwork, and transportation of his remains to his final resting place in Colima, Mexico, I sought support from the veteran's offices.

On October 7th, I received a denial letter from the veteran's offices, adding to the pain in an already sorrow-filled period. I now find myself at a crossroads, needing to honor my father with a deserved farewell but facing financial constraints that make it difficult to achieve independently.

It is at this juncture that I humbly seek your generosity and support. I invite you to unite in a gesture of solidarity and love to help us cover the funeral expenses for my father, allowing him to rest in peace alongside those who were an integral part of his life for so long.

Regardless of size, every contribution brings us closer to reuniting my father with his family in Colima, where his memories and legacy will live forever. Together, we can make this final act of love and respect possible for a man dedicated to bringing smiles and love to everyone around him.
