I’m starting a project to support a local coffee shop in East Africa that’s trying to provide espresso drinks to their own community. It’s an act of kindness to help a small business owner get the right gear to finally do justice to the coffee they have right in their backyard.
The Plan & Transparency
I want this to be a collaborative effort, so we’re going to be fully transparent with every cent raised.
Tracking: I’ll be documenting the entire process from fundraising to the moment the machine is pulled from the crate right here on r/espresso subreddit
Data: We’ll keep a public log of the equipment costs, shipping logistics, and setup.
Updates: Expect regular posts with photos and proof of impact so you know exactly where your support went. YOu can also contact me on my username @explaii on reddit.
The goal is simple: get professional-grade equipment into the hands of someone who cares about the craft but lacks access. I"m hoping 1000 is reached or a little more so that we can purchase a durable machine that can handle wear and tear with minimal maintenance.
