Amber’s dad has been through an unimaginable journey since January 29, 2025. What started as a routine visit to Quick Care quickly turned into a life-threatening emergency when doctors discovered internal bleeding. He was rushed to Indiana Regional Hospital and then airlifted to Pittsburgh, where surgeons found six holes in his small intestine. After an emergency surgery, he faced another setback just days later with a severe infection, requiring yet another surgery and leaving him with 70 staples down his stomach. His recovery has been long and grueling, including 60 days in the hospital and 30 days in rehabilitation, learning to walk, eat, and regain his strength. Even after finally making it home, Amber’s dad endured another hospitalization and extended rehab, only to face a new emergency surgery due to internal bleeding. 

Amber’s dad is known for his kindness and generosity—always willing to help others, never expecting to need help himself. Both he and Amber’s mom have worked hard their entire lives, but the mounting medical bills, lost income, and ongoing rehabilitation costs have become overwhelming for their family. This latest setback has left them in urgent need of support as Amber’s dad continues his fight to recover.
