On September 22. 2024 I was out mowing and when I come up next to our peach tree I was looking To the right Side of my mower while cutting around the tree. All of a sudden I hit a fairly large rock that hit the tree and bounced back hitting me in the eye. My wife drove me to our local hospital where they sent me to a trauma hospital where I found out I had an open globe rupture after this was found out I was rushed back to the operating room where they preformed emergency surgery on my eye. That was surgery number one. since then I have had my lens removed and my retina reattached they also inserted a gas bubble to help keep my retina in place. Then about a month later my retina detached again and I am going to have to undergo another operation on January 2nd 2025. Where I will have to lay a certain way for 10 days. After that I will still have at least 4 more surgeries on my eye. With that being said I was the main source of income for our family and where my wife has to basically do all the driving to and from doctors appointments and with the other surgeries I’m not sure as to when I will be able to return to work I am currently on short term disability but with two growing boys things are getting tight. I am a very proud person and hate asking for help but i am having to swallow my pride and ask for help. Anything will help Thanks In Advance and God Bless
