First of all this was the hardest thing I have had to do in a very long time. My family is going through a tough time now, as many others are as well it seems. My wife is getting ready to go through multiple vein procedures in the next 2 months to help the swelling and blood flow in her legs better. I am currently working as a dog walker/pet visitor to try and pay the bills and rent. I am asking for assistance because  we are a few weeks out from being behind on our rent and entering the stages of losing our apartment. My wife worked for a company for over 18 years and left last year due to the extensive stress it put on her health. I am a stage 4 cancer survivor and  I am trying to keep us from losing our apartment. We have a son and a dog as well. We have 1 vehicle(which has taken all of my wife's 401k saving she took out when she left her job last year). The car has totaled over 9k in repairs since last Sept. when my wife left her other job. With me trying to pick up any visits I can and us only having 1 car it is impossible to work, try to get my son a job working, and  my wife in the process of going through these procedures until the end of August.  Rent, bills, co pays, paying for insurance, trying to get everything settled has become increasingly hard to do. I believe if my wife can get through these procedures and get her health back to normal(or close to it) will be a saving grace for us. Right now with 1 vehicle working(for now) it is hard to have 2 or even 3 people working is going to be difficult. I feel that things will get better when my wife can get a job when she is done with the process she is going to be going through start this week. She will not have a problem  as she was a medical biller for over 18 years . She  was there for me when I was going through stage 4 cancer, she took care of my son while she was working, and she does not need the stress of not having a place to live while she is going through these procedures.  I do not expect a miracle by no means. My goal is to be able to afford rent and paying the co pays so my wife can get done what she needs to  get done. so she can walk around without hurting.
