After 8 wonderful years together, my wife and I are ready to grow our family—but our journey to parenthood has not been easy. Over the past several months, we have gone through round after round of IUI treatments without success. Each cycle has come with both hope and heartbreak, and while we are not giving up, we are now facing difficult financial barriers.

As teachers, we are passionate about nurturing and supporting others, but financially, our careers make it challenging to pursue the next step in our journey. Our insurance will only cover two more rounds of IUI, and we are beginning to realize that IVF may be the path we need to take. Unfortunately, IVF is incredibly expensive, and that is on top of the already overwhelming costs of donor sperm and fertility medications.

The funds raised will go directly toward fertility treatments, including remaining IUI cycles, IVF procedures, medication, and the continued cost of donor sperm. These are not optional expenses—they are essential steps in our hope of becoming parents.

We are hoping to begin the next phase of treatment as soon as possible, as time and timing play a critical role in fertility. The sooner we can access these funds, the sooner we can move forward with the care we need.
