Update: Got the FEMA inspection done today! He is going to speak to landlord again to confirm and add to notes. Apparently the last inspector had closed his report before speaking to the landlord. Fingers crossed they start helping me soon.

Update: 
Just got off phone with FEMA. She removed two items (benefits) from my application so I could proceed without showing utility bills (mine was included in lot rent)

However, because my Driver's license has not been updated yet, (I was about to put in a mailbox and register it with the post office so I could legally update my driver's license) so it just looks like it was a vacation home instead of primary residence.

But she did go ahead and request another inspection. So fingers crossed that something comes of this. It won't be much back from the grant but I can't qualify for the loan (which has to be paid back anyways).

Also note that I applied Sun, September 29th... Been working with them almost every day since. They have listed every single thing they will accept as proof and I have submitted  all that I have. I have been working with top notch advisors through this process, but they don't make the final decisions... They are just as puzzled as we are.

Still being denied any FEMA relief. They want proof that I actually lived there. My landlord already spoke to them and we submitted everything they requested. But still denied. I have nothing else I can use to prove it... Feeling extremely helpless and hopeless at this point.

Home and everything I own was washed away. I don't even know what to think or feel right now. Maybe in shock. I'm alive and safe, so it's got to get better from here, right? 

If I can find a way to get access to  where my home was, I'll update photos on here. Thank you everyone for helping and or sharing. I know there are so many more people needing help. I feel helpless and wish I could be helping others instead.
