Hi everyone, first off thank you for taking the time to read this today and even if you are unable to donate please share. I'd like to introduce my Mom, my rock, and my super hero Debbie, the most selfless person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She is a devoted Sunday school teacher, mother, and friend. She has been known as "Mom" to anyone lacking that kind of parental support. She has used so much of her time, energy, and money to help othersothers and now I am starting this to help her. Unfortunately she is needing to have major life changing abdominal surgery to remove some masses and repair the issues in the intestines and colon track and to regain some quality of life back. She has been my rock and such an amazing role model to everyone in her life. She has gone from basically superwoman to not being able to get out of bed most days because the pain levels are to high. Despite this she still manages to get up and go teach Sunday school for the kids at her church almost every Sunday. One of her main passions in life is sharing the love of God and teaching the kids about His grace, love, and acceptance. She's been a Sunday school teacher for about 20 years now and wants to continue to be a positive role model to kids and people who haven't had that stability in their life. Without this surgery she will be unable to continue doing what she loves, helping others and helping young children discover and grow their relationship with God. She will be forced to continue to live in constant pain and discomfort, and for someone who has done so much for not only me, but so many in this community I have a hard time accepting that as her new state of being which is why I'm here. She currently doesn't have health insurance and is now outside of the open enrollment period. We are trying to find a way to get her some insurance to help cover some of these costs but without it the surgery she needs is going to cost about $160,000.00. She's trying to set up financial assistance through the hospital but it's not guaranteed. Her surgery is set up for April 17th but without some funding it looks like it will have to be pushed back. That is why I'm here asking you today to reach into your heart and donate even if it's just $1 every little bit helps. I know not everyone can donate, but a simple share will help miles. I wish I could do more for her as she is truly a pillar in the community.  We are setting up some other fundraisers and plates to sell as well because we have a large goal to try to reach.
