July 2024, my partner of 19 years abandoned me. I am elderly and on a fixed income. i am selling everything possible to support myself and my  pets,  My car had a mechanical problem. A mechanic told me what was wrong & he would fix it. When he brought it back it ran  for about 20 miles before it stranded me again. He had not repaired it. I had paid him $800. Another honest mechanic fixed it  It was another$300.  The storm did a lot of damage to the yard. I have been trtoto do clean up by myself but is just too much to do alone.  I will use the money to hire help getting things cleaned up before winter. I’m alone, all of my family has passed on   Have no children. It was just the two of us.  Now only me.
