Allen's mother has been left with thousands of dollars of very unexpected expenses due to her husband Danny having a tragic accident falling off a roof and now being bedridden for the unforeseen future.  Not only medical expenses but Danny was the one who maintained finances and she found with his sudden onset of dementia that he was forgetting to pay bills and many of their utility bills, house payment, and other bills have been discovered to be severely behind leaving her with thousands of dollars in overdue payments & medical expenses.
