I have an aging Toyota, an old friend who needs repairs to get back on the road. I have not driven since May, when I first contracted pneumonia and then in July had to have part of my right big toe removed due to an infection. This has created a huge hardship for me, especially as we have no public transport where I live. It has impacted my budget (I am very low income) and affected my mental and emotional well-being, as I have no independence of ability to do the needful for myself and others.
