My name is Destiny, and for the last 11 years my sweet girl Tollie, has been my absolute best friend, my constant shadow, and the one who has loved me unconditionally through every chapter of life. She’s been there for the happy times—road trips, hikes, lazy Sundays on the couch—and the hard ones too, resting her head on my lap when I needed her most. After 11 beautiful years together, I honestly can’t imagine my world without her.

A couple of months ago, that world was shaken when Tollie was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma. The vet biopsied a large tumor that needs to be surgically removed as soon as possible to stop it from spreading and to give her the best chance at many more happy, healthy years by my side. Soft tissue sarcoma is aggressive, but with surgery and the recommended follow-up care, she has a real shot at beating this and staying with me where she belongs.

The problem is the cost. The surgery, anesthesia, pathology, and aftercare are estimated at $3,300. I’ve already spent tremendous money on diagnostics and various treatment to keep her comfortable while I figured out how to move forward. I refuse to let money stand between my girl and the life-saving care she needs.
