I lost my mom and soulmate, my mom to Cancer & Vascular Dementia. She was 68. I danced Ballet from 3 to 17 I joined the Military soon after and became a fitness instructor in my 40s. When I lost my mom I wanted to die. The only thing I could do was dance, choreograph, and workout.for hours to cope. Sometimes 7-8 hours a day. I was absolutely broken. After some time this, done out of grief became a purpose and passion. I saw a way to help people who are struggling wiith loss can focus their rage and grief into something beautiful, all the while making sure you are fit and happy. I have started by going to people's homes and coaching them as I am a CPT and former dancer. I work full.time and if I am going to help people in groups we need community. My goal is to build a home dance studio, & ensure participants have the fuel to show up weekly, and to transport those who cant get transportation, so we ladies have a safe haven to create beautiful movement art and sharing our grief together. I had a choice, keep my job or nurse my mom. Of course mom was never in 2nd. I lost everything & my 401k was depleted in 4 month to pay for meds insurance refused to pay. It was worth it. Thank you to anyone who sees fit to donate to help other women, not go through grief like I did, alone. I thank you in advance & god bless you.
