Hello

I had a freak accident occur to me on the 11th of July, By my own mistake I put my finger into a car fan and cut off the tip of my finger and shattered the bone. I feel really dumb for making such an idiotic decision. My finger nail bed was completely removed and half of my middle finger tip is pulverized 

My car was overheating in rush hour traffic on the 60 Freeway and while trying to assess the situation the fan had turned on. Due to the traffic noise I didn't hear it. I reached in and just that fast my life was forever changed.  

I have to see a hand reconstruction specialist. 

Since I'm self employed I do not have the best insurance which again is my fault. The copays on the procedures needed are well beyond what I'm asking for on this platform. Just need some help as we all do every once in a while. 

I am an IT consultant and the use of my hand is critical for me to perform my job to best of my ability. 

I'm just grateful that I didn't loose more than I did and it could have been worse. This is what I'm telling myself, although being a bit down about being disfigured for the rest of my life has me in a bit of a funk.
