Hi, my name is John. I'm a laborer and this past summer I was working in my yard and did something to my back. I went to the doctor and the MRI showed two bulging disc in my lower back. In the process of seeing about that, I discovered that I have a pinched nerve in my neck which is causing numbness in my hands and right foot. So I starting the journey of filing for disability and consulting with doctors about my options. The doctors have advised surgery on both my spine and neck. I'm waiting on a 2nd opinion.   During this process, I haven't been able to return to work. For awhile, I was able to live off my savings, but now I've run out. I am 6mons behind on my mortgage and have nowhere else to turn. I am asking for $10,000 to catch up on my mortgage and water bill. It feels odd being on this end of help. I'm normally the one that is doing the helping. Every little bit helps. Even if it's not monetary, a state/federal program that maybe can help me out in this trying time. No amount is too small.
