Hi, my name is LaTiah and I’m reaching out for support during an incredibly difficult time. I am a full-time teacher and student who has unexpectedly found myself displaced from work and preparing to become a single parent. Due to losing my income this past spring and summer, I’ve fallen behind on bills, leading to court appearances and even the repossession of my car.

I’ve always worked hard and never thought I’d find myself in a position to ask for help, but now I’m desperate. My baby is due in just 10 weeks, and I’m doing everything I can to ensure I have a stable home and transportation before she arrives. My family and I are facing the possibility of being both homeless and carless, which is terrifying as I prepare for this next chapter.
