Hi, my name is Jasmine and I am desperately reaching out for help with my SW Gas bill. My children and I have been living without hot water, heat, and gas connection for over a year, since July 2024. I have tried everything to get the past due balance paid down for the last year. I paid half of the past due balance, but SW Gas will still not reconnect. I can't afford to pay much every month as rent, electric, and groceries are hard enough to keep up with.

We have been taking cold showers for the second winter now. I haven't been able to use my stovetop, oven, or heat the apartment during the cold winter months. All the government assistance programs deny me help because either my income is too high or I am under the age restriction. I have sent emails to local charities and churches for assistance with no success. I have two children with open child support cases, but the child support division has yet to locate or collect any funds from their non-custodial parent.

Any help that you can give to help pay the $940 balance down would be greatly appreciated so we can be that much closer to having a hot shower and working stove to prepare meals. Thank you. I will provide any information needed, just let me know.
