I am trying to help my roommate get the funds together to travel to Houston, Texas for an eye surgery that can possibly restore his vision. He was born with glaucoma in which he lost his left eye when he was just 7 years old. His vision is fading in his right eye and his doctor has told him that he will need this surgery in order to restore his vision in his right eye. He is unable to afford the cost as his insurance will not cover the procedure or the travel for the surgery that could save his sight. He would like to get his vision back so that he can work and not feel like a burden to the ones he holds dear. He has to travel to Houston and take someone with him as he will have to be there for seven days for the surgery and the after care in which he will have hotel cost and food cost for himself and the person that goes with him to take him to and from appointments. I am doing this fundraiser as I cannot afford to give him the money as like him I am disabled and on a fixed income. PLEASE help my buddy.
