Update on Esther

Hi everyone,
I wanted to take a moment to share an encouraging update on Esther and her ongoing treatment journey.
We are happy to share that Esther remains in high spirits and has officially been approved to participate in a clinical trial! This is an exciting and hopeful step forward, as we are optimistic that this treatment may help her avoid the need for a second stem cell transplant.
As some of you may know, Esther has been receiving growth factor therapy to stimulate the production of healthy blood cells and support her bone marrow recovery. In conjunction with this therapy, she will now be participating in a clinical trial involving an infusion of engineered cells. The goal of this treatment is to promote healthy bone marrow function, improve blood cell production, and potentially help her body fight the remaining cancer.
While a secondary stem cell transplant remains an option, finding a suitable donor has continued to be a challenge. We are hopeful that this clinical trial will provide an alternative path forward and give Esther the opportunity to make meaningful progress in her recovery.
Although there are still many uncertainties ahead, we are choosing to remain optimistic and are incredibly grateful that another treatment opportunity has become available.
As Esther prepares to begin this next chapter, we ask for your continued prayers, positive thoughts, and encouragement. We are hopeful that this treatment will bring the progress we have all been waiting for.
