The love of my life’s, father Jesus Cañete unexpectedly passed away yesterday in the Philippines and neither of us nor her family members have the means necessary to cover all of the expenses for the hospital bill, funeral, burial, travel for brothers and sisters. Unlike here in the United States, there are no payment plans for related expenses.
As she described her father, Jesus Cañete, he was a stern yet loving father, who was born on October 15th, 1950, and resided in Mindanao, Philippines. Jesus was a devoted father who gave everything to support his twelve beloved children. He worked Monday-Saturday for 40 years straight to support his wife and 12 children. He gave every penny to support and feed them. When he’d come home from work on Sunday he would take all 12 of them like a parade to church in his shiny shoes and suit. He instilled them with discipline, compassion, and taught them the importance of living by God. God was the most important to him and attending church.
While his family mourns the loss of Jesus, we find solace in the enduring memories of his love, discipline, and guidance. His legacy will continue to shape the lives of his children and all those who were fortunate enough to know him.
I personally can cover a portion of the costs and will do so but by no means can I afford all of it. I’ve heard good things about this community and it is my hope that we can reach the goal. I have calculated the expenses as is and nothing more than the goal to cover the hospital bill, travel for four family members, casket, burial services, and the funeral.
