I'm 58 years old, a US Army Veteran, and I'm on Social Security Disability not related to my service. I find myself not able to pay a fine or fix my truck to get myself on my feet..

I'm starting to get my life back together after ending up homeless a couple of months back. My vehicle that broke down and got towed made me homeless. With the help of Nations Finest, I am off the streets but can't put a car in my name or get it registered and tagged.

It'll take $500 to pay the fine for an abandoned vehicle that left me abandoned—go figure! I have bought a truck, sure needs tires, some TLC and the tranny slips a bit but it's mine out right and I can build from there. It's just I can't drive until it's legal, even though I got insurance on it. I've no plates and wouldn't break the law anyways.

I find being on a fixed income is harder than people think, so if you can help, great, and if you can't, I understand. Times are tough out there. Thanks for looking.
