Today I am writing this letter with a heavy heart but still maintaining an optimistic spirit. My name is Austin Williams. To those who know me, I always try to be strong and independent, but today I am facing a battle that I cannot overcome on my own.
I am living with multiple sclerosis (MS), a chronic and debilitating disease that affects the central nervous system. This condition requires continuous management, specialized medical care, and extremely expensive treatments.
Two months ago, my life took a turn for the worse when I lost my job. Without a steady income, the financial burden of dealing with MS has become an insurmountable mountain. Currently, I am struggling to pay for: My treatment includes powerful injections and infusions, which are very important to slow the progression of the disease. Due to recent changes in insurance coverage and costs, my out-of-pocket expenses for treatments have skyrocketed. I am in a situation where I can no longer afford daily food and basic living expenses.
I have set a goal to raise $15,000. This amount is not just a number; it is a lifeline that will allow me to: Ensure payment for medical treatments in the coming months and increasing insurance premiums. I need to pay for specialized infusion medications that help me maintain mobility and normal daily activities. I will take care of basic needs (food and shelter) while focusing on stabilizing my health and finding new ways to support myself.
If you cannot donate, your prayers, words of encouragement, and your help in spreading the information mean a great deal to me during this difficult stage of my life.
Thank you for your kindness, your generosity, and for always standing by me.
With sincere gratitude,
Austin Williams
