Bill is in stage 5 kidney failure. And on dialysis daily. Bill needs a kidney transplant. Bill is a rare blood type and can only receive a Type-B blood donor kidney. As you can imagine, those are hard to come by.  He has been on the donor list with no success so far. 
Bills son Kaleb is not a match for him but will be participating in the “Good Samaritan donor program.” This program allows Kaleb to donate a kidney in exchange for a family voucher. This voucher allows Bill to move to the top of the donor list.
When the kidney comes, Bill will immediately have to go to Seattle for a 3-4 month stay. 1-2 weeks of that stay will be in the hospital. The other 3-4 months is due to needing daily care and medications at the hospital. Bill and his wife Donna will be paying for an AirBnb during this time. They still have a mortgage and bills at home that also need to be paid. Bill and Donna live 2 hours from seattle and can not travel 4+ hours a day for treatment as it is not conducive for healing and their wellbeing. With your donation, you will be allowing Bill to get the after care he needs in Seattle.
Bill works for North Thurston School district, is a husband, a father, and a grandfather.
