Brett and Brenda—my son-in-law and daughter—have poured their hearts, souls, and countless years of hard work into building DieHard Family RC Park in Snohomish, Washington. What they created is far more than a race track; it’s a gathering place for families, friendships, mentorship, and community. DieHard RC has always been built on passion, grit, and giving back.
In just a matter of days, that life’s work was devastated. Historic flooding swept through the area, leaving the park completely underwater—more than six feet deep. The tracks, buildings and equipment onsite is totally submerged. Years of sweat, sacrifice, and love were wiped out almost overnight, and the damage is truly heartbreaking.
The scale of the loss is overwhelming, and the road ahead is uncertain. Brett and Brenda have always shown up for others, supporting families, youth, racers, and the broader community whenever help was needed. Now, they are the ones facing an unimaginable challenge.
Once the floodwaters finally recede, the real work will begin. Cleanup, assessment, and rebuilding will take time, labor, and resources far beyond what they can manage alone. Any support—whether through donations, helping hands, equipment, or simply sharing this message—will make a meaningful difference.
DieHard RC has always been about heart, resilience, and community. With your help, that spirit can rise again.
