In early January my dad Edward started having a hard time eating and was losing his appetite fast. He went to his general practitioner who told him to schedule a CT Scan. He called and was told the earliest available was a month or so away, so he waited. He wasn't quite in pain, but he was very uncomfortable and hungry. We noticed he was losing weight. One day at work he was so uncomfortable and tired of waiting that he went to a stand alone ER at my mom and I's urging. Then everything changed. In the ER the CT Scan showed things that were very concerning and they immediately got him registered at the hospital in the Medical Center. There are two large tumors on my dad's liver that they found. He had them biopsied and they came back as cancer. My dad has Stage 3 Liver Cancer. For now, they are trying different chemos to treat it. These chemo appointments are every week for 4 hours at a time at least. My dad is not working. We are waiting on my dad's disability pay. In addition to house bills, we have hospital bills, and hospital parking fees for his appointments. We barely have time to sit and cook a meal. We appreciate any donations to help us during this difficult time. Thank you!

I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their donations, kind words, and prayers. To my pharmacy colleagues, your support and willingness to step up during such a difficult time mean the world to me. Thank you for being such incredible friends when I needed it most. I truly appreciate each and every one of you. – Edward
We are truly thankful for your generous donations, which have enabled us to move forward with the port procedure scheduled for next Wednesday, April 9, 2025. This port will provide a more direct access point for infusions, helping to minimize needle pricks and making chemotherapy sessions a bit easier to manage. He is taking his medication for the DVT, and the pain and swelling has decreased in his legs. Your kindness and support mean so much to us, and we deeply appreciate everything you’ve done. ❤️His wife-Lucy Read More
