am a 42-year-old woman living with multiple chronic health conditions that have made this season of life especially challenging. Due to my health, I will need to be out of work for approximately one month to undergo a necessary surgery.

While I am employed, I do not have enough paid time off available to cover this absence. Much of my PTO has already been used for FMLA-related absences and medical appointments, and there is not enough time before surgery to accrue enough additional leave. As the couple days of PTO accrued will be used for pre op appts. As a result, I will be without much of income during my recovery period.

I am raising funds to help cover essential living expenses such as rent and bills while I heal, so I can avoid falling behind or incurring late fees that could impact my credit. Any amount of support, no matter how small, would mean more than I can express and would truly help ease the burden during this time.
