Our dear Emily was a passenger in a horrific car accident coming back from vacation from the outer banks on 7/14. She very nearly lost her life at the scene but by the grace of God a groundswell of witnesses including nurses along with skilled first responders were able assist her until she was able to be life flighted to Sentara Shock Trauma Center. There, she underwent multiple emergency surgeries for life threatening injuries over the course of a week while being cared for in the ICU. She continues to be hospitalized and has a long road of recovery ahead of her. If you can find it in your heart to make any contribution to her extensive and compounding medical bills and lessen her burden so she can focus on healing and getting back to her life and we can focus on supporting her through it, we would be forever grateful.
