Hello, friends! 

I'm Gus,  ("Uncle Gus " to my friends and loved ones) and I’m reaching out to ask for your help with a big change in my life. I'm moving across the country from my scary red state to start a new chapter in Olympia, Washington, where I'll be closer to my children and grandchildren, and where I hopefully won't have to fight so hard for my basic rights. 

This move is a major step, and I couldn’t be more excited, but the costs are substantial, and I need a bit of support to make it happen.

Moving involves not only packing up my life but also covering travel expenses and preparing for the transition to a new community. Between moving truck rental, gas, and first month’s expenses, the costs are adding up fast. I’m hoping to raise around $3200 to help cover the essentials and give me a solid start as I begin this new journey.
