We were able to get a build a ada complaint shower for Libby last year. She really needs a tall toliet as she's fallen numerous times getting off the toliet while I'm working, a bidet would help allow libby regain some independence as well as have to relay less on me on days she is really having a hard time. The sink we currently have is super large it takes up a ridiculous amount of space so libby walker doesn't fit into the bathroom. This sink I found would allow that. I have found everything at menards for $310.19 I found a really beautiful futon on Amazon that is just like the one libby picked for her new healing room. This one is only 64 dollars. I found a table top ice machine for her heat intolerance for 45 bucks. Making the home safer for my wife is really important to me. I really worry about her when I'm at work and thankful she qualifies for home care now. These are obvious costs insurance doesn't cover. I'm one man here and I'm trying my best to make sure my Wife has a safe living situation especially in the bathroom where most falls happen. Even with our new shower I sold a kidney for, lol libby only feels safe taking one shower a week since we can't get her walker in. I need to get this sink ripped out and something more accommodating as her disease is progressive. We really appreciate those who have helped us when I was sick and now helping Libby. Libby wants to shower daily and I want that for her mental health too. Thanks for reading.
