My 43 year old nephew, Josh Slater, has recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and is undergoing surgery to save his life. Having raised his son as a single parent, Josh has always been a proud, hard-working man. He enjoys fishing, riding side by sides with his son and granddaughter and taking care of his two dogs, which are more like family than pets. He now struggles to do a lot of the things he loves due to his illness. He’ll be unable to work after surgery and we’re unsure of when he’ll be able to return. He’s struggling with a lot of pain and has a long road ahead, including an eight hour surgery and Chemo. Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest but so is Josh. We are asking for prayer and financial assistance on his road to healing.
