Valerie 21 year old with Downs syndrome. That could mke anyone smile and was always the sunshine of the room. Became very ill on December 30th when getting into the car to be taken to the doctors for a re-check from being a little under the weather, on her way to the car she collapsed and started having seizures her grandmother called 911 and she went 15 minutes without oxygen she was taken to the hospital locally and they failed her so her mother had her transported to University of Maryland in Baltimore for the best chance of survival. Fortunately I'm Monday night everything took a turn for the worst her brain had swelled so bad that it dropped below her skull and was resting on her spinal cord and they had to make the hardest decision possible for parents and pulled the life support. You never expect to deal with something like this it just 21 years old. And this sweet baby deserves to have the best going home possible.. I know they say they are better off when they pass away but there is no way that something like that could be said truthfully about such a vivacious, funny, loving, perfect young lady.. she was loved by anybody that met her she called me sunshine but she feels to realize she was my sunshine. So please if you can find it in your heart to donate it will go straight to the funeral home!
