Hi, my name is Mark and I’m 68 years old. Unfortunately, I need help with medical bills, medication, etc. My life changed on March 19, 2025, while sitting on the back porch. I was rushed to the ER and immediately into open-heart surgery with a 20% chance of surviving. My aorta had busted open, and I was internally bleeding. Two blood transfusions and a collapsed lung later, I am alive. I have been working since I was a teenager. Due to my illness, I’m no longer able to work. I have applied for different state benefits with no help. My body has been invaded with multiple ailments over the years, and God knows I’m tired. But through it all, I have pushed and pushed and never gave up. I kept working and depended on no one. Thank God for my family and some friends; they have been wonderful.
