Akoda is a failure to thrive baby born 32 weeks premature with multiple medical complications requiring surgeries and

frequent hospitalizations since birth. He now needs a second opinion from a leading doctor at Boston Children's Hospital regarding his weight loss and need for a treatment plan to stabilize him and making sure he is able to eat and thrive. 

He has had 5 gastric tubes inserted by different doctors, all of which failed. Now at Columbia Children's Hospital, the GE team has not succeeded in improving his status. 

We need this second opinion to help save his life, and the family has no funds to pay for this important second opinion. We would be grateful for any contributions to his ongoing care and ability to hire some better doctors to evaluate and help him.
