  • Grateful & Blessed

I really don't know where to start but let me first start by thanking each and every one of you who have helped me. No mater what your donation I am very grateful for your help and kind words. I have been very overwhelmed the last few weeks by the number of people who have said so many kind things, I'm tearing up just writing this. I don't think about it much, but I never realized how many lives I have touched simply by being myself and having empathy for those around me who are going through something. In the last few weeks I have been able to relax a little, my anxiety has gone down. I have actually been able to get sleep, something that has been tough to come by the last number of years. I have been able to not only catch up on my mortgage but I have been able to get to other bills that I have neglected. Thank you all very much for your generosity, compassion and love. The things that you wrote has helped my mental health in ways I couldn't begin to explain.

About this fundraiser

This is VERY difficult for me to ask for help, please know this.  But I begging for your help and kindness catching up on my mortgage.  My wife Kelly passed away in 2022 and my youngest Anna passed in 2015.  Circumstances were such that she left me not only with a broken heart but medical, cc debt.  I have been a bio teacher for 23 years. When Anna got diagnosed I needed to be her caregiver.  I was a Research Scientist but could not work 10 -12 hours in a lab.  So, Kelly found teaching for me, so I could be home at night so she could work the night shift.  So I went from a job making 78K a year to making 32K as a teacher.  That had always put a strain on our finances but between us we got through.  But the past 2 years I have been on intermittent FMLA due to a pinch nerve I got by picking up Anna when she was having a seizure, so she wouldn't aspirate, That was 15 years ago.  Being on FMLA I was not paid but I could not stand, sit or lay down for too long.  Since April I have gotten behind on my mortgage.  I don't do anything extravagant.  In the last 25 years I have only been on 2 vacations.  If you can do anything for me, I would be most appreciative, grateful and blessed.  I have always taken care of others, whether it was my daughters, wife or students.  I have always given of myself and have never asked for anything in return.  If you can donate God Bless you, I hope you receive the generosity and mercy you have shown me a million fold.
