My name is Sara Frederickson. I am Matt's little sister. Matt has been in the hospital since April 15, 2023. Knowing Matt, he likes his privacy and doesn't want everyone to worry about him.

Unfortunately, his infection started in his stomach and spread to his brain. He had his first brain surgery on the evening of April 17th. He will have more surgeries in the near future. His recovery is progressing well, each day he has little successes.

Everyone knows Matt will help you whenever and however he can. It's our turn to help him. He works for a small car shop and works hard to please his customers. Fortunately, he has his medical insurance that will cover most of his medical expenses. However, he does not have long or short-term disability to help keep up with regular bills and out of the pocket medical expenses.

We the family are asking, please help Matt to lessen his worries about his bills. He has a long recovery ahead.

Knowing Matt, he wants to get back on his feet and be back to his normal routine as soon as he can independently. Let's help him by chipping in what you can afford so he's not so far behind.
