About this fundraiser

My name is Pia-Denise, and I’m out of time.

On September 29, my home caught fire. My service dog, Trumpie, and I survived — but everything else was gone. The insurance company denied my claim because of a “technicality,” saying my policy was active but not yet effective.

Four days later, we were on the street. I had already lost my job for doing the right thing, and now I was losing the life I’d built. I reached out to every charity, church, and agency I could find, begging for help — and what I heard shattered me:

“If you get rid of the dog, we can probably help you.”

That “dog” was my lifeline. My protector. My heart. I could never turn my back on him — not then, not now.
Trumpie came to me when he was just three weeks old. From the moment I held him, I knew he was special — gentle, intuitive, and wise beyond his age. He grew into the most loyal and loving companion I’ve ever known. He was only eight months old, still a baby, but he carried himself like an old soul. Through every loss and every sleepless night, he kept me grounded.

But on October 14, after weeks of stress, fear, and trying to keep us safe, Trumpie passed away from complications. I did CPR the entire way to the vet, praying for a miracle that never came.

Now I’m trying desperately to do the only thing left that I can for him — to have him cremated and laid to rest with his brother, Chevy, who I lost late last year. My strongest and wish and prayer is that they can be together again, because they were my family, my world, and my reason to keep fighting.

This is my last attempt to raise the funds needed to cremate Trumpie and honor him with dignity. Every hour counts now. The funds will go toward:

   Trumpie’s cremation and

A safe place to stay while I rebuil

Basic needs as I continue fighting for insurance coverage and stability

If you can donate, share, or even send words of support — please do. Every bit of kindness means more than I can ever express.

You Trumpie gave me unconditional love, courage, and loyalty. In his short life, he showed me what true devotion looks like. Now I just want to keep my promise to him — to make sure he’s treated with the same care and respect he gave me every day of his life.

Thank you for reading, sharing, and caring.

Thank you for helping me keep my promise to give him u’re helping me give him peace.
