Hello, my name is Carolyn Wood, I am 56 yrs old and live in Foley Al  . I have 4 adult children and 6 grandchildren. I was coming home from work on Dec. 5th and was having sharp pains in my neck , think it could be a heart attack I stopped by the ER because I knew I was having some blood pressure problems. I was admitted into the hospital, where more test were ran for 3 days, I was released on Dec 8th , was told I had congestive heart failure and pulmonary edema. Which I had told a doctor about all my problems in 2022 but it was just shrugged off , gave me a few pills and no really taken a seriously as it should have been. But now it is progressing pretty quick. The right side of my heart can not pump the blood out as fast as it is pumped in so it's backing up and is not getting oxygen in my blood to circulate threw out my body. And the pulmonary edema, causes blood clots to my lungs. These both makes it hard for me to breath, which I am now on oxygen all the time. But even with oxygen I feel like someone is choking me. It's scary to be asleep and be woken up thinking someone is chocking me. If I bend over I get lightheaded, and I just keep gaining weight regardless as to what I do, I have no clothes to wear I have gained 30 lbs in the blink of an eye. In the midst of all this I was told I couldn't work anymore . So now I'm sick, can't do much of anything for myself. Have no income and medical bills are piling up, Medicine, doctors, groceries and gas I can no longer afford. Anyone one that can see it in their hearts to help me with any amount no matter how small will be so much appreciated  I was told not to stress , how can I not stress. With all this going on. I am really not the person that ask for help, I am a very hard worker . But I can choose between working or breathing. I have 6 grandchildren I would love to get to spend a little more time on this earth with them. They have all been threw so much I don't want them to be hurt threw this. Please and thank you for anything even if it's a prayer please help.
