Stevie Rose has faced more than her fair share of medical challenges. She lives with cerebral atrophy, microvascular ischemic disease (a small blood vessel disease), epilepsy, and asthma. Just a week ago, Stevie suffered a severe epileptic episode that would not stop. After being rushed by ambulance to St. David's in Georgetown, doctors administered multiple medications to control her seizures, but her conditions did not improve. Stevie was admitted to the ICU, intubated, and placed in an induced coma to stabilize her seizures in an attempt to help her body rest and recover. After several days in the ICU, she was finally able to be taken off the ventilator and begin the long process of healing. Stevie has now been released from the hospital, but her journey is far from over. She will need ongoing care from her neurologist and primary care physician, as specialized neurological treatments and medications. The medical bills are already overwhelming, and more expenses are on the way. Your support can make a real difference. Every donation helps Stevie access the care she needs and eases the financial burden on her and her family during this difficult time. Thank you for lending a hand to Stevie Rose!
