I am reaching out to try to get help to get my rent paid for this month and next month. Last year, my landlord nearly doubled my rent. This caused extreme problems for me and I have been nearly late every month. I took on a college job while in school to help pay for my rent. It's just my mom and I. She receives very little in social security a month. I went back to college for a career change to get a better job and improve our life. I just graduated a few weeks ago with a 4.0 GPA and have a job offer. However, I can't start for 2 months due to company budgets. I am seeking any help to get my rent caught up this month and for next month, so that I can get my feet on the ground and not lose my housing. With pets and low income, I would end up homeless. I appreciate any support.
