My name is DeNay, and this is one of the most vulnerable things I’ve ever shared — but also one of the most important.

After years of struggling with my weight, my health, and my confidence, I made the life-changing decision to undergo weight loss surgery. Through discipline, sacrifices, and a level of strength I didn’t even know I had, I lost over 200 pounds.

This transformation saved my life…

but it also left me with something I can’t fix on my own:
 

Painful, heavy, and debilitating excess skin.
 

The loose skin affects my

People see the weight loss, but they don’t see the physical pain, rashes, infections, and emotional challenges that come with carrying pounds of extra skin.

I’ve come so far in my journey — but this last step is medically necessary for my comfort, mobility, and overall well-being. Unfortunately, skin removal and a mommy makeover after massive weight loss are not covered by insurance, even though they’re needed for my health.
