Help My Senior Boy Fight Bladder Cancer
For years, I’ve been asking for help on behalf of rescue dogs — the seniors, the medical cases, the ones who needed a second chance. Your generosity has saved countless lives, and I will never take that trust lightly.
Today, I’m reaching out for a personal reason. My own senior dog, my constant companion, has been diagnosed with a serious bladder mass, most likely transitional cell carcinoma (TCC). While this is a serious diagnosis, we caught it before full obstruction, and his oncology team believes that with prompt treatment, he has a real chance at maintaining a good quality of life and meaningful time together.
This will cover the full course of recommended treatment, supportive care, and monitoring — giving him the best chance at comfort and quality of life.
Why I’m Asking
As someone who has spent years advocating for and supporting rescue dogs, asking for help for one of my own is not easy. I want to be completely transparent: no rescue funds are being used for his care. This is strictly a personal medical fundraiser.
Even if you are not able to donate at this time, sharing this fundraiser or sending love and positive thoughts makes a meaningful difference. Every gesture of support counts.
The Goal
The hope is to raise most or all of the estimated costs. I understand that these are challenging times, and every donation, big or small, helps provide him with the treatment and comfort he deserves.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity, trust, and compassion — both for the rescue dogs I’ve served and for my heart dog today. 💛
