I never thought I’d be writing something like this, but I’m asking for help for my mom.

A few days ago, my mom’s life changed really quickly. What started as sudden vision issues turned into something much more serious – a retinal detachment, which can lead to permanent blindness if it’s not treated right away.

There wasn’t time to wait or plan. Everything moved fast, and she had to undergo emergency surgery to save her sight.

Watching someone you love face the possibility of losing their vision is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. It was scary, overwhelming, and all happened so quickly.

We are incredibly grateful that the surgery was successful. But now we’re facing the reality that it came with a cost and she doesn’t currently have health insurance.

On top of that, she hasn’t been able to work during recovery. So not only are there medical bills, but also the stress of lost income during a time when she needs to focus on healing.

If you know my mom, you know she’s the kind of person who quietly shows up for others – always giving, always strong, never asking for help. Which is why this is so hard.

I’m starting this because she needs support right now, even if she’d never ask for it herself.

Any donation, no matter the size, would help relieve some of the financial pressure so she can focus on recovering and getting her life back.
