Early this year, my dad, Victor was told by corporat that the position he worked would not exist come September due to changes the company would be making. Then Tuesday morning, March 7th, he was getting ready for work when he suffered a torn aorta. The tear reached all the way down his torso. Both my parents had to take time off work while he was on the hospital. They now have expenses in addition to the surgery that include an ambulance ride, helicopter ride, hospital rooms and few weeks of rehab. He is still recovering and we are not sure when he'll be able to return to work and search for a new position.
