In May 2025 my hard working husband, flatbed trucker owner operator was discharged from a wound clinic with a black spot on bottom of toe on left foot. We questioned it but the doctor said it was a black calous. I'm just 5 short days he was dying with flesh eating bacteria and I rushed him to a different hospital where they rushed him into surgery to amputee his leg because he was in both toxic and septic shock. Not sure he'd make it through surgery. They amputated the left leg below the knee to get the bacteria. Exactly 2 months later he fell over in our bedroom in cardiac arrest. My daughter and I performed CPR on him for 25 minutes til medics arrived and they continued to work on him for another half hour. Coroner's were called and an extensive autopsy was done which showed injuries from the trauma of the flesh eating bacteria that caused clotting. He threw a clot and went into Cardiac Arrest. It took months to get his autopsy back. We had a very small trucking business but we went through our money and sold everything we had to cover everything. I fell behind on a few things and his funeral bill is 6000 now. This was due to no fault of our own. We always worked and gave to help others in need across country. This hurts my pride dearly and it would have hurt my husband's too but I need help to get on my feet. I think God would forgive me as we have done everything until this, on our own. I can handle current stuff but getting caught up is a losing battle for me. In 9 years we lost an 11 yr old granddaughter to a harsh 6 month cancer battle then a year later we lost my stepson and then this all from May til July in 2025 when he tragically passed. I may have friends and family who are embarrassed by me asking but they haven't filled my shoes and I pray that they never do. If you can't donate or don't want to then I understand and that's perfectly fine because it's rough for everyone right now. Would you please share or say a prayer for us because God is good.
